Amazing private Machupicchu tour with Maicol Christian
Maicol Christian is a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, trustworthy, punctual and great tour guide. We had private 2 days Inca trail hike to Machupicchu and third day we went to Humantay lake with Maicol and we had an unforgettable experience. Moreover, Maicol is a great photographer 📸 so we had amazing pics of this wonderful trip. We would absolutely recommend him for adventures Machupicchu trip. We initially deposited some amount to Maicol in advance for 2 people booking as he needs to purchase Machupicchu entrance tickets, train tickets, bus tickets, etc. Yes, he is trustworthy person to pay half amount in advance. Inca Trail to Machu Pichu, a dream trip
I had the opportunity to make the Inca trail to Machu Pichu with Christian and it was the best Guide I met (I already met many). The way you shared your knowledge of the history, architecture, culture and way of life of the Incas was fantastic. I am always adapting to our difficulties with altitude adaptation, making breaks at important and timely moments, creating opportunities to better know the path and the involvement that was around us. In Machu Pichu it was thanks to Christian that we were able to know areas of Machu Pichu that are not accessible to all tourists. Trust Montana Peru to make the experience special.
As an experience my Salkantay Trek was almost life changing, not least to the tireless efforts of Christian and his team from Montana Peru. The basics are of course taken care of logistics of moving tents and our heavy bags was see less, arriving each night to a setup tent ready to rest along with the kitchen and dining tent - the food, the food blew my mind I was expecting some form of stew and rice but we were treated to a range of dishes and deserts, the guys had been collecting fresh items along the trek like avocados and passion fruits and putting them to maximum effect. (See photos). But what I was most impressed by was Christian's ability to bring the trek to life. There is guiding and then there is guiding. Christian appears to know everything about Peru, from the ancient history, every plant tree and creature we would pass he knew the intricate details of what it was, what it was used for how it got there. But he would also tell us current affairs, polotics over the generations. What he didn't know about the Inca's didn't appear to be worth knowing - I am well read in this area but he was able to draw everything I knew together and put it into context, never more apparent than the morning we spent at Matchu Pitchu when he took us through the craftsmanship, architecture, design, water ways, farming, religion, culture, history, lifestyle, agriculture and so so much more. The trip could not have been made more perfect than it was, and I cannot personally recommend Christian and his team more having done so to my friends and family already, please do not hesitate to book Montana Peru as your guide for Peru. AMAZING!! Peru tour with Christian
I recently had the absolute pleasure of having Christian as my tour guide during the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu and other Peruvian landmarks. Christian really looked after me and the others on the tour and I honestly cannot fault anything on the entire experience. He was so attentive, kept us all safe and nothing was too much trouble. Christian’s tour will stay with me forever and was actually life changing in so many ways. I made friends for life and we all connected on a deep level. Christian is so knowledgeable and shares his passion so well and he is truly a kind hearted soul. Christian provides an excellent accommodations even on the mountains. I have been recommending to other friends.
The Andes are a magical place. We visited some many places beside Machupicchu. We also did a 5-day trek to the Andes. There are so much more to see. Check out my pictures below. Would Recommend to all friends & family
Christian was an excellent guide. He lead me on the 2-day Inca trail. He was super clear with instructions and communicated very we’ll. In Ometepe we took the train to the start of our trail. We hiked along beautiful lush landscape on ancient Incan made trail. We stopped at ancient archeological sites along the way. Christian did very well to discuss the history of the sites. He also would explain the foliage and natural surroundings. We stopped to eat lunch at an archeological site where I had a delicious high quality lunch (including the most delicious Brownie I have ever had!) Christian picked a great dinner spot in aguas Calientes (Machu Pichu town) and gave a great tour of the magnificent archeological site. He also took some wonderful pictures and knows the angles very well. I would highly recommend Christian and can’t wait to go back to Peru and have him show me more of the magical country

Christian was our guide for a hike and tour. He was very knowledgeable about the area history and was very accommodating. The hotels he recommended were great. His pack and camp crew were excellent. His drivers were prompt and courteous. We recommend Christian for an excellent adventure trek and tour.
