Modifications

  • Depending on the timing of the request, our team will assist you and provide an updated quotation based on the services that allow modifications. Please note that:
  • Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non-modifiable once issued and must be purchased again in case of any change, as per official regulations.
  • Hotel reservations may be modified up to 32 days prior to travel, in accordance with the provider’s policies. After this period, changes are considered a cancellation.
  • Cancellations made more than 32 days in advance
    No additional charges apply. Only the initial deposit is retained, as it is used to secure permits, entrance tickets, and train services.
  • Cancellations made 32 days or less before departure
    The total cost is non-refundable.

A good general level of fitness is recommended. This journey involves light to moderate walking, including approximately 2 hours of exploration within Machu Picchu, along stone paths, steps, and uneven terrain.

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco

Airport Pick-Up in Cusco (3,399 m / 11,152 ft above sea level) Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our team.
Transfer to Hotel in Cusco or Urubamba (2,871 m / 9,419 ft above sea level) Travel time: 20 minutes to Cusco / 2 hours to Urubamba You will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. This day is reserved for rest and acclimatization.

Day 2: Sacred Valley (Maras & Moray)

Hotel Pick-Up Your day begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel.
Transfer to Moray (3,500 m / 11,483 ft above sea level) Travel time: 1 hour from Urubamba / 1 hour 30 minutes from Cusco Visit Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory.
Transfer to Maras Salt Mines (3,380 m / 11,089 ft above sea level) Travel time: 30 minutes from Moray Explore the Maras Salt Mines, a network of salt ponds used since pre-Inca times, where mineral-rich water is naturally evaporated to produce salt.
Return to Hotel in Urubamba (2,871 m / 9,419 ft above sea level) Travel time: 1 hour from Maras This evening, you will stay overnight in Urubamba.
Day 3: Machu Picchu Experience
Hotel Pick-Up Your day begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel.
Transfer to Ollantaytambo Train Station (2,792 m / 9,160 ft above sea level) Travel time: 30 minutes
Train to Aguas Calientes (2,040 m / 6,693 ft above sea level) Travel time: 1 hour 45 minutes Upon arrival, lunch will be arranged.
Ascent & Visit to Machu Picchu (2,430 m / 7,972 ft above sea level) Travel time: 30 minutes The ascent is operated by official shared buses authorized by the state. Explore Machu Picchu, an iconic Inca citadel set high in the Andes, renowned for its history and breathtaking scenery.
